Open-HUB-Day 2024

As part of the BMBF funding initiative AI Application Hub Plastic Packaging, the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV invites you to one of the exciting innovation laboratories in Dresden on November 12, 2024.

The innovation laboratory “KIOptiPack - Design and Production” is developing AI-supported tools for the production of plastic packaging with a high proportion of recycled material within the KI Hub. It optimizes and validates design and production processes through the collaboration of over fifty partners. All steps of the process are considered - from the design of the packaging to the production of the films and the molding of the end products. A central network platform connects these activities and supports the exchange and improvement of the overall system – this platform also allows for the exchange with the partner lab “K3I-Cycling”.
