Circular product design approaches - like repairability, modular design or mono-material design – facilitate recycling and/or enable further possibilities of “getting into the loop”.
We at Fraunhofer CCPE work together with partners and customers to develop individual ideas, concepts and scenarios for closed-loop recycling of products from various industries. Our expertise includes extensive methodological knowledge of the design and construction of products as well as the selection of suitable materials and manufacturing processes. Specific approaches include mono-material design and lightweight design.
